Idle Rebellion
Story By Dustin Jefferis & Aaron Shakra
Screenplay By Aaron Shakra

Idle Rebellion was/is the start of the adventure; many late night conversations weaving a story together from two person's ideas--often diametrically opposed. Although it hasn't been made yet. Will it ever? Oh yes. Right now, it's in the process of being a screenplay, feature-length, but not-quite-finished. The problem isn't that it's too short; it's too long. The first draft was about 2 hours and 20 minutes. And then second draft closer to 2 hours 10 minutes. And now work continues. What can be said of the screenplay though? It starts off with a homage to one of the most maligned films in cinematic history. Perhaps our subtle pop sensibilities have struck your attention. This is good. The idea is to grab attention and then, take folks on a ride; one that doesn't require the things that make movies exorbitantly expensive. However, this shouldn't necessitate a shoddy production; we have some interesting ideas about how we want to avoid this while maintaining a minimal, freeform, character-driven production. That's all that can be said. Mostly, because it's fun to keep secrets until they can be unleashed in a somewhat completed form. They also impact much more this way. But there will be more... in the future.
